The Barbican Conservatory is such a gem of a location for an engagement shoot! It's right in the heart of London, free to enter, and is a stunning indoor botanical garden set across two floors. Despite its relatively small size (well, compared to Kew's greenhouses), it houses a vast array of plant species and makes for a beautiful, nature-based backdrop for engagement sessions - plus you can guarantee luscious greenery all year round, no matter when your shoot is. This is can then be contrasted with the outer Brutalist architecture of the Barbican itself, giving you a completely different feel in your engagement gallery.

M and R brought such wonderful energy to our shoot and working with them was such a delight. This engagement session was everything I love about photographing couples and the connection between these two made capturing their photographs so effortless (M was an absolute STAR in front of the camera). We spent the first hour inside the gardens before making a quick outfit change to take pictures outside the Barbican, and made our way to another smaller indoor gardens called Crossrail Place Roof Gardens. The combination of genuine love and gorgeous settings never gets old!

Ready to have some fun and create stunning photos together? I'm here for it! Drop me a message, I'd really love to hear from you.  (PS - no you don't have to be engaged for a couples shoot!)
