This can be split into a couple of shorter sessions - at the very start of the reception and during golden hour (for that magical, warm glow)
I’ll capture:
- 'Formal' portraits - these are absolutely timeless and the ones your parents and grandparents would love to have!
- Creative use of light and environment (hello golden hour!), for those romantic, relaxed and candid shots
Pro-tips:
- just be ready to express your love! I'll be there to gently guide your poses
I’ll capture:
- Immediate and extended family (based on your list)
- Wedding party (fun & formal)
- Candid moments with special guests
Pro-tip:
- I will send out a template for you to fill in at least a couple of weeks before your wedding date
- Assign a trusted member of the wedding party who knows both sides of your family well, to gather people for an efficient group portrait session
Now it’s time to celebrate! During the reception, I stay on the lookout for candid moments, emotional speeches, and all the joy on the dance floor.
Captured:
- Tablescapes, florals, seating plan
- Your grand entrance - confetti shots and entry into the wedding breakfast
- Speeches and reactions (you get some of the best emotions here!)
- First dance, cake cutting, and traditions
- Candid guest moments and dance floor fun
Pro-tips:
- for the confetti shot - have an assigned member of the wedding party to help gather everyone! I'll keep a small group to one side to do a 'confetti shower' over you standing still and kissing - it makes for a STUNNING shot
A sparkler tunnel is always so fun and produces magical photos, but if you have something else in mind let's plan that final 'wow' factor for you wedding album!
